Five Nice Mice

Five Nice Mice is an illustrated children’s book by Chisato Tashiro and published by Minedition (Michael Neugebauer Publishing Ltd).

It tells a story of five mice who, on a lovely night in the city, hear music in the distance. They wonder what the sound could be and follow the music only to find a fabulous frog concert in the park. However, mice are not allowed! Disappointed, they return home and decide to form an orchestra of their own. They make their own instruments, practice, and finally put on a fantastic show for other animals. When the applause dies down, they notice that the frogs are in the audience. Being nice mice they are, they are quick to forgive the frogs and in the end they all share the stage and happily jam together.

The full book can be viewed on Minedition’s website. I have designed the interactive version of the book which was then published in the App Store. Featuring the original story and illustrations as well as a wonderful voice-over and soundtrack, I have added many interactive elements and several mini-games to engage and entertain readers of all ages.
